My goal as a massage therapist is to provide my clients with the best possible treatment for their specific needs. I do not believe that one size fits all, especially when it comes to treatment. Someone with a migraine headache will need a completely different treatment technique than someone with a frozen shoulder.
When you come to see me for treatment I will take the time to discuss and evaluate the cause of your individual problem. I will then design a course of action to “treat the cause”, thus eliminating the problem. My work is for the most part Pain-Free. There is no need to cause pain in order to treat pain. I believe massage treatment should work with the body’s natural ability to heal. By working with the body the results are often more satisfying and longer lasting.
Think about it this way: if pain is a consistent part of your day-to-day life and what you have been doing is not working, why not try something different? Try some body-work. Your will get a break in your routine, a “stress break”. At the worst there would be no change in your condition. And the best outcome would be that your pain is gone. Forever. I am not the least expensive therapist in town, but I strive to be the most effective.
